Branding and theming

Make FastStaq look like your product: change the name, logo, colors, and theme. This guide covers the fastest path and the manual touch points.

Rename the project

FastStaq ships a rename helper that updates the product name across the codebase:

pnpm rename

Run it early, before heavy customization, so all the generated copy and metadata match your brand. Review the diff it produces and commit it as one change.

Logo and favicon

• Replace the logo asset used by the navbar and auth screens with your own.
• Swap the favicon and any social/Open Graph preview images in the client's public assets.

Colors and theme

FastStaq uses Tailwind CSS with CSS variables for theming:

• Adjust the design tokens (CSS variables for background, foreground, primary, etc.) in the client's global stylesheet to recolor the whole app.
• Update the Tailwind config if you need new brand colors or fonts.
• Light and dark modes are supported out of the box; set both palettes so the app looks right in either mode.

Product name and metadata

• Set your public-facing name and URLs through configuration and env where applicable (for example FRONTEND_URL, FROM_NAME).
• Update SEO titles, descriptions, and the site metadata to your brand.

Legal and email branding

• Regenerate the legal pages with your company details: pnpm generate:legal. See Legal pages and consent.
• Set FROM_NAME and FROM_EMAIL so transactional emails come from your brand. See Configure email and SMTP.
