Managing your account and 2FA

Your FastStaq account holds your purchase, license, and support history. Keep it secure and up to date from your dashboard settings.

Update your profile

1. Sign in and open your account settings from the dashboard.
2. Edit your name and profile details, then save.
3. Upload an avatar if you would like one; images are stored securely.

Change your password

1. Go to account settings and choose the password option.
2. Enter your current password, then a new strong password (12+ characters with upper, lower, and a digit).
3. Save. You may be asked to sign in again.

If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot password link on the /login page to receive a reset email.

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a one-time code on top of your password.

1. In account settings, open the security or two-factor section.
2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or 1Password).
3. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm and turn 2FA on.
4. Store your recovery options safely so you can get back in if you lose your device.

After 2FA is on, you will enter a code from your authenticator app each time you sign in.

Changing your email

Email changes are protected with a verification step (a PIN sent to confirm the change), so your account cannot be moved without access to your inbox.
